Organisers have regrettably announced the cancellation of today’s event, and it’s all down to Mother Nature. “Very high winds” have made it unsafe to proceed with the popular market.
It’s always a shame when events like these have to be called off, especially when so many people look forward to a Sunday stroll through the stalls. Safety, however, must always come first. High winds can make setting up gazebos and displaying goods incredibly challenging, not to mention a potential hazard for both sellers and eager shoppers.
