Hyderabad Set to Get New ₹200 Crore Cyber Tower in Kailashpur!
Exciting news for Hyderabad! The city is gearing up for the construction of another state-of-the-art cyber tower, this time with an estimated investment of ₹200 crore. This isn’t just any new building; it’s slated to become the brand-new, full-fledged headquarters for the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) in Kailashpur.
The ambitious project will unfold on a five-acre plot of land specifically identified by the CMC. Engineers are currently hard at work drafting the designs, and officials are ready to submit these plans for government approval as soon as they’re finalized. Get ready for a significant upgrade to public infrastructure!
A New Era of Administrative Efficiency
This development is a direct result of the state government’s strategic decision to reorganize the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). By designating the Outer Ring Road (ORR) region as the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE), three distinct civic bodies were born: the GHMC, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), and the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC).
This reorganization also brought about changes in the jurisdictions of the water board and police commissionerates, with similar restructuring being considered for the electricity and revenue departments. The aim is to streamline administration and enhance service delivery across the board.
Integrated Services: A One-Stop Shop for Citizens
Currently, the CMC operates from a building in Hitec City, but Commissioner Srujana has been pushing for a permanent and more comprehensive headquarters. The proposed G+8 building promises to be just that – a modern, integrated complex designed to provide unparalleled convenience to citizens.
This new tower isn’t just for the CMC office. It will also house a state-of-the-art command and control centre, the water board’s executive director office, and offices for the electricity and revenue departments. Imagine the ease of accessing multiple essential public services all under one roof!
The CMC’s vast jurisdiction covers significant areas including Manikonda, Narsingi, Serilingampally, Madhapur, Kondapur, Miyapur, Tellapur, Patancheru, Kollur, Ameenpur, Kukatpally, Nizampet, Dundigal, Qutbullapur, Gajularamaram, Kompally, and Medchal. Structured into three zones and sixteen circles, the new headquarters will serve as a pivotal hub for countless residents. This new cyber tower is truly a step forward in enhancing urban governance and public convenience in Hyderabad!
